Cebu City, Philippines – On November 15, the Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany, Ms. Laura Oexle, during her first trip to Cebu City, met with development cooperation partners which implement projects with German support in Bohol, Cebu, and Negros Oriental.
AFOS Foundation shared updates on the implementation of the FISH Visayas Project related to climate change and resilience. Other organizations presented their work relevant to children’s & women’s rights, land rights/reform and agriculture, education, and humanitarian aid. It was also a networking opportunity for future cooperation between existing projects funded by Germany.
