By Mary Ruth Ochavillo. Posted on May 16, 2023.
Cordova, Cebu – Seventy (70) attendees participated in the 1st day of the Cordova Action Planning workshop facilitated by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and supported by the FISH Visayas Project on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Cebu Cordova Home Village Resort, Cordova, Cebu.
The two-day workshop aims to bring together key partners and stakeholders to share and exchange ideas and experiences and identify potential challenges, opportunities, strategies, and approaches to facilitate the effective and efficient implementation of the project in the locality. Notably, the first day provided an opportune time for the partners to listen to the stories, dreams, and aspirations of Cordova fishery stakeholders, which include selected representatives of fisherfolks, fish vendors, food stall operators, solo parents, youth, and motorcad operators. These will then be anchored to the interventions of the project that will be identified by the partners in the second part of the workshop.
