Terms of Reference: STE to Produce Drone Videos and In-shot Photos Documenting the Bangus Harvest in Cordova, Cebu

DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENT
The Short-Term Expert (STE) or service provider will produce high-quality photos and video footages, with drone shots documenting the Bangus Harvest activity of the FISH Visayas – supported 600 square meter fish pen for Kapunongan sa Mananagat sa Ibabao (KAMI) in Cordova, Cebu, on December 17, 2024. The outputs must include footage of the preparations for the harvest, the actual harvesting process, and the transfer of the harvest to an institutional buyer.

Result 3: Market access for fishermen and MSMEs in the Project has been expanded.
KEY ASSIGNMENT OF THIS ASSIGNMENT
The STE or Consulting Firm’s scope of work1 will include, but is not limited to:
- Collaborative Meetings.
Attend meetings with the project management team of AFOS Foundation and the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss the flow of the activity and align visual expectations of the footages.
- On-site Filming. Travel to Cordova, Cebu, and capture the required footage and photos.
- Submission of output. Deliver the raw drone footage and in-shot photos by December 18, 2024.

PROPOSED EXPERT/S
- Proven experience in professional videography and photography, including drone operations.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality documentation of similar events or activities.
- Familiarity with coastal or fisheries-related activities is an advantage.
- Access to and proficiency in using advanced camera and drone equipment.
EXPERT’S TASKS
The Short-Term-Expert of Consulting Firm will work in close coordination with the Knowledge Management Coordinator of the FISH Visayas Project along with the guidance and advisory of the Project Manager and Resident Representative of AFOS Foundation.
Preparatory tasks
- Familiarize with the FISH Visayas Project’s objectives, particularly the requirements for video and photo documentation.
- Develop a filming strategy, ensuring full engagement of participants during the activity.
During the bangus harvest
Capture drone footage and ground-level shots of:
- Preparations for the bangus harvest, including setup activities.
- The actual harvesting process, showcasing the fishers’ methods and tools.
- The transfer and handover of the harvest to the institutional buyer.
- Engaged participants and key stakeholders interacting during the event.
KEY DELIVERABLES/S
- High-resolution photos and videos documenting the Bangus Harvest activity.
- Submission of all outputs in compliance with the agreed timeline.
REPORTS
Outputs
- Raw videos, drone footage, and in-shot photos delivered via email or flash drive by December 18, 2024.
Reports
- Completed STE timesheet

- Updated CV highlighting relevant experience in videography and photography.
- A brief proposal including:
- Portfolio link showcasing previous work.
- List of equipment to be used for the assignment.
- Professional fee.
