Cebu City, Philippines – The Department of Science & Technology – Regional Office No. VII (DOST 7) and AFOS Foundation – Philippines conferred on Monday, November 21, 2022, and refined and validated the DOST interventions identified by the FISH Visayas Project Partners.
Further, DOST 7 presented the Community Empowerment thru Science & Technology (CEST) as a potential program that may contribute to future Project cooperation with AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Cooperation.
DOST 7 is represented by its Regional Director, Engr. Jesus F. Zamora, Jr.; Assistant Regional Director, Engr. Tristan L. Abando; CEST Coordinator, Ms. Marichu Baclay; GIA Coordinator, Ms. Elvirg F. Solana; OIC-Provincial Director of Cebu, Engr. Juan Edgar C. Osorio; and Cebu SETUP Coordinator, Engr. Alger S. Loyal.
Meanwhile, CVISNET Foundation presented the ISLET CONNECT Project, a potential concept that may contribute to the conceptualization of a new project of AFOS Foundation – Philippines. CVISNET is represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Jeffrey N. Llanto; Finance and Admin Head, Ms. Elsa A. Odron; Software Engineer, Kenneth Santiañez; and Project Coordinator, Gylndell Monterde.
