AFOS Foundation Receives Recognition on its 14th-year Partnership with the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Technical Cooperation Projects

Mandaue City, Cebu – AFOS Foundation receives a golden recognition for bolstering 14 years of partnership with the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2009. The awarding was conducted during the 2nd General Membership Meeting and 120th-year founding celebration of CCCI on May 31, 2023, at Bai Hotel, Cebu.
Since 2009, AFOS Foundation has inked a partnership agreement with CCCI to implement technical cooperation projects in the Philippines funded by the German government. Completed projects include Working for the Enhancement of Chamber and Association in the Caraga and the Visayas (WECAN / 2009-2014), Optimizing and Upscaling Roles in the Food Supply Chain (OURFood / 2012-2018), and the K to 12 PLUS (2013-2020). At present, AFOS and CCCI implement the Fostering Inclusive & Sustainable Habitats in Central Visayas or FISH Visayas Project supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project runs from July 2019 to June 2025.
