The coastal clean-up serves as a key initiative in the ongoing mission for trash-free seas. Beyond instilling a sense of environmental stewardship, it plays a crucial role in promoting awareness regarding the intricate connection between human activities and the well-being of our oceans. This collective endeavor contributes significantly to the overarching objectives of marine protection and coastal resource management.

Through the concerted efforts of the fisherfolk community, the Holiday Coastal Clean-up in Cordova resulted in a substantial reduction of litter, debris, and pollutants along the seas, waterways, and coastlines.
